When I was a kid in the late 50 early 60' My mother and I would walk past the home and she would tell me that was where they put the crazy people and that if I was not good that is where I would go. Was it a place for people with mental issues in the 20's and 30's. My great Aunt was sent there by her brothers because they said she was "looney" Poor thing must have been terrified.
