JUANITA N. BONNER

Passed away May 2, 2001 at home in Rohnert Park at the age of 75. She was born and raised in Nesmith, S.C. and graduated from Indiantown High School in S.C. Juanita was in the U. S. Army (WAC PFC) between 1945-1946. In 1945 she married Muncie Bonner and they resided in San Francisco between 1945-1957. In 1957 she moved to Marin County with her husband and lived there until 1991. She moved to Sonoma County in 1991 and lived here for the past 10 years. Juanita was an active member and past officer in the local chapters of AARP, Widowed Person's Assoc. and NARFE. She was involved in her church and various charitable organizations. She is survived by her daughter Linda Bonner of Yreka, CA; son Richard Bonner of O'Fallon, IL; grandchildren Carin and Sean Bonner of O'Fallon, IL; grandson Brandon Bonner of Petaluma, CA; Brandon's mother and our cherished caregiver Roberta Arvilla of Petaluma, CA; sister Etta Ferdon of Charleston, SC; sister Emmie Plexico of High Point, NC; sister Omega Brown of Charleston, SC; sister Eloise White of Charleston, SC; nieve Kathy Lua and family, Pau, Maili, and Kristi and baby Noelani Johnson. Services will be held May 6, 2001 at the Windsor Comm. Methodist Church on Brooks Rd., at 1:00 P.M. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of Pleasant Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, Sebastopol.
