Florine F. Ewell
Former Marin resident
Florine Falk Ewell, a Marin native who lived most of her life in the county, died Dec. 10, 1990, at her daughter’s home in Sparks, Nev., after an illness of six months. She was 61.
Mrs. Ewell grew up in San Rafael, graduating from San Rafael High School, in 1946, and was a past honored queen of the local Job’s Daughters group.
She also lived in San Anselmo before moving to Nevada 27 years ago.
She had worked for the Marin Municipal Water District and also a Marin electrical contracting firm before moving to Nevada. In Nevada, she was secretary-bookkeeper for the Carpenters Union in Reno.
Mrs. Ewell is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann DePoali of Sparks, Nev.; her sister, Helen Madsen of San Anselmo; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Ewell’s name may be made to the St. Mary’s Home Health Care Agency, Hospice Program, 235 W. Sixth St., Reno, 89503.
