Robert J. Bell
Former Marin resident
Robert J. Bell, a former Forest Knolls resident, died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 15, 1990, at his home in Hayward. He was 41.
Mr. Bell was a native of Minnesota and lived in Forest Knolls for 15 years. He moved to Hayward about six weeks ago.
He owned his own business, Artisan Builders in Castro Valley and was a member of the carpenters union local number 335.
Mr. Bell was the master builder of the Frank Lloyd Wright display which was located in the Marin County Civic Center last year and received a Distinguished Service award from Supervisor Al Aramburu.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and bridge player.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Bell of Hayward; a daughter, Danielle Katherine Bell of Hayward; a stepdaughter, Becky Goldberg of Point Reyes; a stepson, Cody Goldberg of Point Reyes; his father, Robert S. Bell of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers, Roger T. Bell of Reno, and William C. Bell of Hayward; two sisters, Jeanne S. Lawrence of Hilo, Hawaii, and Diana Bell-Beebe of San Diego.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grissonís San Lorenzo Chapel, 267 East Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.
Memorial contributions are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, 94546.
Grissomís San Lorenzo Chapel is handling arrangements.
