HAGEDON Ė In Sacramento, formerly of Novato, Dec. 7, 1990, Lucille Hagedon, beloved wife of the late William Hagedon, loving mother of Sharon Ryan of Sacramento, sister of Jim Martin, Lavonne Tod, Lorraine Wiegen, Darlene Baker, Charlotte Arp, Cheryl Harrison, Ruth Groth, Gloria Willens, daughter of Eva Martin, grandmother of Christine, Shannon and Kelly Ryan, mother-in-law of William Ryan, great-grandmother of Michael Zacharis. A native of Iowa; age 65. A member of Dietary Managers Association and Emerald Club of Iowa.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 1990, at Keatonís Redwood Chapel of Marin, 1801 Novato Blvd., Novato. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Interment, private, Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions preferred to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Marin.

Lucille Hagedon of Sacramento, a former resident of Novato, died Friday, Dec. 7, 1990, at the Sacramento home of her daughter, Sharon Ryan. She was 65.
Mrs. Hagedon was born and raised in Iowa. She and her husband, William Hagedon, moved to Novato around 1960. Following his death in 1976, she remained in Novato for about a year before moving back to Iowa.
She worked for more than 40 years in the food business. She and her husband opened restaurants at various times, and in later years she worked as a head dietician at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.
She was a member of the Dietary Managers Association and Emerald Club of Iowa.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Hagedon is survived by a brother, Jim Martin of Santa Clara; seven sisters, Lavonne Todd, Lorraine Wiegert, Darlene Baker, Sharlotte Arp, Cheryl Harrison and Gloria Willems of Iowa, and Ruth Groth of Arizona; her mother, Eva Ward Martin of Iowa; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Her husband William Hagedon, died in 1976.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Keatonís Redwood Chapel of Marin in Novato. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. Private burial will be in Valley Memorial Park in Novato.
Her family asked that memorial contributions go to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Marin.
