Dorathea Kiff
Art and Garden volunteer

Dorathea “Woodie” Kiff, a 30-year San Anselmo resident and former president of the Marin Art and Garden Center’s Decoration Guild, died on Saturday, Dec. 1, 1990, at Carewest Bayside Convalescent Hospital in Greenbrae. She was 75.

Mrs. Kiff, an interior designer, was co-owner of Wrathal & Krusi electrical supply company for 30 years. She retired five years ago.

She was born in San Rafael and raised in Stockton.

She was a 1937 graduate of the College of the Pacific.

In the mid-1950s, Mrs. Kiff moved back to Marin and built a home in San Anselmo several years later.

She joined the guild in 1981 and served as its president in 1986.

She is survived by her brother, Parker F. Wood Jr. of Woodside.

Private services were held.

Burial will be private at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.

Memorial donations to a favorite charity are preferred.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the daughter of the late Parker and Vera Wood.
