Plumberís Apprentice Dies of Bullet Wound
A San Bruno plumberís apprentice was found dead in his car in San Anselmo at 5:55 a.m. today with a bullet wound in his left chest.
Asst. County Coroner William Bradley said the death of John Gregory Vidal, 19, appeared to be suicide. An autopsy was to be performed today.
Bradley said Vidalís parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Vidal of 217 Cascade Drive, Fairfax, could give no reason for their sonís action.
Vidal was found near 300 Scenic Avenue by John Viberg of 126 Allyn Way, San Anselmo. His car was blocking the road. A .32 caliber revolver was lying near his right hip.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, San Anselmo.
