Aged Pioneer Died at Bolinas
Another one of Marin County’s oldest pioneers died at his home at Bolinas, October 26th – Mr. Frank Mesa. He was a native of California, born in Santa Clara County, was over 75 years of age, and came to Marin County when quite young, making his home with the grandfather of the Briones boys. He was the father of Mrs. Lucy Jarrett of Oakland, and the stepfather of Mrs. Frances Clark, Mrs. S. Ingrinmann, Leonard, Hiram and Charles Nott.
The funeral services were conducted from Sawyer’s Undertaking parlor in this city on Friday, and the interment took place in the perpetual care section of Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, the grave being laid with rich colored evergreens. A large number of friends and relatives were in attendance.
