Norma Anne Luce Osborne
Born September 13, 1931 in San Francisco. Passed away May 17, 2002 at her home in Sebastopol. Survived by daughters Linda Osborne, Nancy Lorenz, her husband David and their daughter Amelia, son Glen Osborne, his wife Shannon, and their children Nathan and Morgan, sister Jackie Darrington of Ukiah and her family, brother Douglas Luce of Castro Valley & his family. Norma grew up in Mill Valley, California. She graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1950, and attended numerous Junior Colleges. At age 18 she married Donald Eugene Osborne. The family lived in Lake, Marin, and Sonoma Counties. Norma was a member of the Redwood Empire Rose Society, the Santa Rosa Garden Club, and the Santa Rosa Arrangers' Guild. She met many kind and wonderful people through her activities in these clubs and held dear the friendships she had made there. Norma always appreciated the beauty that life has to offer, and everything she touched added more beauty to this world. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Memorial Service at the Luther Burbank Art and Garden Center, 2050 Yulupa Avenue, Santa Rosa on Sunday, May 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
