Retired Baker Joseph Hinard Dies
Joseph Hinard, 82-year-old retired baker, died yesterday at a local hospital. Before his retirement he had been employed for 15 years at Bordenaveís San Rafael French Bakery.
Hinard came to San Francisco from his native Lys, France, in 1906. He moved to San Rafael a short time later and had made his home at 98 Shaver avenue. He was a member of the Lafayette Club.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Mordue and Alice Hinard of San Rafael; a son, George, of San Rafael; three brothers, Jean of San Rafael, Pierre of San Diego and Henry of France, and five sisters, Louisa, Marie and Terza Hinard and Grace Loste of San Francisco and Josephine Borbes of France.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. from Keatonís, Fifth and E streets, San Rafael, thence to St. Raphaelís Church were at 9:30 a.m. a Requiem Mass will be offered. Rosary services will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Keaton chapel, with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
