Mrs. Bordanara Of Corte Madera, Widely Known, Passes Away
Mrs. Elizabeth Bordanaro, 71, well-known Corte Madera resident for the past 21 years, died Saturday at her home, 218 Chapman drive.
The wife of Joseph Bordanaro, former operator of Corte Madera Super Service Station at Redwood and Corte Madera avenues, she was a native of San Francisco.
Mrs. Bordanaro was the mother of Joseph C. Bordanaro of Stinson Beach, wartime Marin county coordinator of civilian defense and former San Rafael bank employee; Mrs. Helen M. Bilse of Walnut Creek, and Ann B. Edwards of Corte Madera. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Harry M. Williams mortuary, San Rafael. Concluding services will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, at 3:30 p.m.
A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that Mrs. Bordanaro was the sister of Mamie Adams of Concord.
