A Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy M. Stranzl, 18, of Corte Madera, will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Larkspur.

She died in a car accident in Novato on Sunday.

A native of San Francisco, she was a College of Marin student and was working at Macy’s in San Rafael.

She had graduated from Marin Catholic High School in June. She also had attended Saint Patrick’s Catholic School in Larkspur.

She is survived by her parents, Richard H. and Judith V. Stranzl of Corte Madera, three brothers, Stephen R. Stranzl, Joseph M. Stranzl and Scott W. Stranzl, all of Corte Madera, and a grandmother, Marie Stranzl of Mill Valley.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. Monday until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. She will lie in state after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Patrick’s Church. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was also the sister of the late Suzanne M. Stranzl, and the niece of Frank and Helen Stranzl, Carl and Carol Stranzl and William and Rose Larsen. Also survived by 15 cousins.
