Fred E. Cavalli Dies At Mill Valley Home

Member of the pioneer Cavalli family, early-day settlers in the Olema district, Fred Edward Cavalli, for 43 years a resident of Mill Valley, died at his 15 Mountain View avenue home in that city Tuesday night. He had been in poor health for some time but critically ill for only a brief period.

Born near Olema, Cavalli was 44 years of age and a veteran of World War I, which make him eligible for membership in the Mill Valley American Legion post. For years he had been head draftsman for the Hale Bros. department store in San Francisco. The widow, Mrs. Tillie Cavalli, and one daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Imhoff of Cambridge, Mass., survive.

Funeral is to be held from the Robert P. Russell & Co. chapel in Mill Valley tomorrow morning at 9:15, thence to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church where requiem mass will be celebrated commencing at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery.
